Upon admission to the Fayette County Jail, all money in the possession of an inmate will be deposited into an account and credited to the inmate. Inmates are not allowed to have money in their possession while incarcerated.
Anyone wishing to place money on an inmate's account may do one of the following:
Mail a U.S. Postal Service money order, made payable to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office Inmate Fund (Memo Line - enter the inmates name), to: Fayette County Jail Attn: Inmate Accounts 145 Johnson Avenue Fayetteville, GA 30214
We will not accept cash or checks - only U.S. Postal service money orders!
Funds may also be placed on an inmate's account by one of the following methods. These are provided and serviced by a third party vendor (Smart Deposits) and may involve a service fee:
Using the automated Kiosk machine located in the Jail lobby. This machine accepts cash or major credit cards. It will also accept debit cards displaying the VISA® or MASTERCARD® logo.
